Compliance

"Compliance" (from English.compliance - compliance, consent) - represents compliance with any internal or external requirements or norms.

Compliance is responsible for combating corruption and fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing. Compliance ensures that the Company's activities comply with the current legislation and internal regulations, sets ethical standards of employee behavior, etc.

The purpose of implementing the "Compliance" system is to create effective mechanisms for identifying and analyzing corruption-prone areas of activity, ensuring comprehensive protection of the Company from legal, economic, reputational, sanctions and other threats, in accordance with the best international standards.

As part of the Initiative Information Policy, in addition to internal channels for expressing concerns about anti-corruption issues, violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unethical behavior or discrimination, an external centralized initiative information line has been introduced, administered by an independent operator.

Adhering to the principles of sustainable development, the company invests in environmental programs, occupational safety and personnel development. The implementation of the project for the construction of a modern mining and processing complex contributes to the development of the industrial potential of the Kyzylorda region. The company actively implements modern technologies of ore extraction and processing aimed at increasing production efficiency. Special attention is paid to creating new jobs and supporting socially significant initiatives in the regions where we operate. The company also cooperates with domestic and international partners to exchange experience and implement best industry practices. Due to the significant reserves of the field and the long-term development strategy, JSC "ShalkiyaZinc LTD" is considered as one of the key projects of the mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan.
